Hidden River Songwriting Camp is a 4 day songwriting retreat in the Pacific Northwest. Songwriters gather for several days to write, share songs and enjoy the beauty of the natural site. Led by Matt Meighan.
Matt Meighan co-founded Hidden River Songwriting Camp with songwriter Chris Kokesh in 2011. He has taught Songwriting as Truth-Telling classes in Portland since 2009 and hosts an annual songwriting retreat in Donegal, Ireland. Matt’s teaching encourages songwriters to express their own truth in their own authentic musical voice. He studied poetry at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado, where he earned an MFA in writing and poetics.
